You Asked, I Answered

Hey everyone! I hope you have had a lovely January and a lovely week. I have had a very tiring week. It was a week that I did enjoy, but at the end of this week, I'm so exhausted. Today I'm bringing you a similar post to one that I did at the start of my blog almost 7 years ago. Back then it was called What My Friends Want to Know and the structure is the same.

How to Make a Welcome Bag for Your First Time Guest

Hey everyone! I'm glad you are here! I love guests. Okay, so I may groan sometimes when my doorbell rings, but that's usually late at night or like way too early in the morning. But, I really try to make all guests feel welcome. And since there are teenagers in the house there are lots of first-time guests now. Which is why I have made Welcome Bags!

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. - 1 Peter 4: 8-9

Simple Abundance: New Edition 2020

Hey everyone! I'm thrilled to have you here today. I'm cozied up right now enjoying the night with a good book and my journal. It's been a day and I'm just wanting to just chill and relax. I wind down at night pretty easy now with my nighttime routine that is still in the works. Part of that routine is Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnach

You may struggle with certain problems, issues, and sinful habits until you die, but this doesn't mean you resign yourself to staying where you are - not when you're following the God of the Impossible. - Chris Hodges

New Year Wish List 2020

Hey everyone! Do you ever do just a plain want list? Well, it's a plain and a need list. I have found myself making this for years without realizing it. What is great about this list is I have it written down so I won't forget and these things play in my mind all the time.

January Fun List

Hey everyone! I hope you are having a great Monday! I'm sharing something so exciting for me. I love the bucket lists on Pinterest, and I've created my own for each month now! And I'm sharing them with y'all!

20 Nonfiction Books for 2020

Who doesn't love a good challenge? Well, for me it depends. As I tell my best friend all the time, "I know my limits." But this year I am making my own challenge for myself. I want to read more nonfiction. I'm more of a self-help or Christian nonfiction genre.

Hey everyone! Let's talk about something that has been plaguing me for a while now. How do you have some self-care at work? Sure it is easy to put on a face mask and hop in the tub at home, but I don't think they would appreciate me hopping in the sink at work with goop on my face.

December 2019 Favorites

Hey everyone! I cannot believe it's a new year and a new decade! I actually slept through the first few seconds of this new year. My best friend actually woke me back up. So, if the legends are right then I'm sleeping all year and talking to my best friend. And I'm okay with that!
