So, today I thought I would share the top 10 wedding songs we had at our wedding. We actually had a family member who is a deejay be in charge of our wedding iPod. Yes, our wedding iPod so there were no surprise songs on this iPod filled with over 100 songs!
10. Obsession - Hedley; Vin has loved this song so much. He was literally quite obsessed with me, and he would tell you that himself. This was the song played in the background during his vows. He actually managed to sing part of the vows because he used part of this song. (Vin's Pick.)
9. Thank God I Got Her - Jonny Diaz; We are a couple and very unique together. So, when walking back down the aisle him sweeping me up to this song it was hilarious. He really wanted this song for this part of the wedding. (Vin's pick.)
8. Don't Get Better Than That - LOCASH; This was the song that was our entrance to the reception. Now, it was not our first dance, but it was our entrance. We were husband and wife together for the first time and no it didn't get better than that. (My pick.)
7. Stripped - Shiny Toy Guns; We were quite daring with this one. It holds special meaning for us. We actually used it as our last song at the end of all it. And trust me it worked! We have a few people can tell you that this song was everything in the last dance song. (Both picked.)
6. Let It Go - Idina Menzel; Vin was able to dance with all his girls to this one. I will never forget that first dance with him and Rain watching Frozen. We are thrilled with how this turned with him getting to dance with all of his girls. (Vin's pick.)
5. Sorority Girl - Luke Bryan; I wasn't going for a traditional tossing the bouquet song. Nope, not at all. Especially my sorority pin was on the ribbon around those flowers. It was amazing! And long after the bouquet was caught we are all dancing and singing to this song. (My pick)
4. Enchanted - Owl City; We actually had a unique version of this which is linked here. If you knew us in college you know that Vin was a lot like Sheldon and had a spot. We were totally Shenny back then. Too nerdy and too beauty according to him. For the record, this song played while he down the aisle to the front. (Vin's pick)
3. Love - Nancy Adams; We fought if this should be on the list or another song that was played at our wedding but this Disney song won out. We were kids falling for each other at 11 and 13 when meeting at Disney World. And kept bumping into each other through life.
2. Rock Me - One Direction; We will never grow up. We may grow old, but growing up will never be us. And this song, while we danced like we were 10 years younger, proved just that at our wedding. (Vin's pick.)
1. Never Stop (Wedding Version) - Safetysuit; This has been Vin's song for me since January 1, 2014. When he proposed on the baseball song this was the song that was playing and our first dance as husband and wife this was the song that guided us. It's actually above our bed. Because it's true we still get each other's heart racing. Especially when we look back at our history and then look at each other. (Both picked.)
