Where Our Family Shops For Groceries

It's time for... Supermarket Sweep! Do you remember that show? I do, and I would still love to be on it! But, alas, I can't go flying down the aisles grabbing stuff and knocking stuff off the shelf in the process. However, I do enjoy wandering aimlessly up and down the aisles for the most part.

But things are changing, now you can sit in your car and have your groceries brought out to you. Or, you can even stay at your house and someone brings them to you.

We have a large family. It gets interesting with providing food to the family, but we do it. Some people scoff at us, but this is what works for us. We are not asking you to do the same. And there might be things you don't agree with us about, but it's how we choose to live.

Walmart - Our grocery journey begins at Walmart. Actually, it starts at Walmart Grocery. The best thing since, well, I don't know what. If you haven't heard of Walmart Grocery Pick Up be prepared to be amazed. You order your groceries online. Don't think you are going to order something and then within the next hour pick it up. It doesn't work that way. Usually, you have to wait to wait 4 hours at the minimum. We usually pick up staples (some household things and basic food staples.) We order Saturday night and pick them up on Sunday. They tell you if anything was substituted or that they just didn't have. And you can either help them load the car or you just sit in the car and they load it! It's amazing! Sometimes, you even get gift bags with samples it in!

Aldi - Aldi is an amazing place for produce and snacks! That's seriously why we love Aldi. We do enjoy their frozen appetizers as well. We also use some house staples from Aldi, such as gallon and quart zip bags. Sometimes, Aldi has some pretty unique things and that is a plus for us too. Plus, we like bagging up our own stuff. Just remember your quarter and money for bags. Or bring your own like we do!

Target - If Target was a person, they would be a best friend. No seriously, check out my letter to Target. This Target junkie has a messy bun while getting stuff done on her Target run. I love that Target is trying to new things with their food (really with their whole store, but that's for later.) I really love their variety. And they have partnered with Shipt! Order your groceries online and NEVER leave your house! They deliver to you! Also, Target is working on their own Target Pick Up, but groceries aren't available yet, but everything else is available! They brought my purse I purchased online right out to me!

Publix - If Walmart or the regular ole grocery store doesn't have it, head on over to Publix! We love Publix! I love the variety and the service! If I'm having a party, I also stop by Publix. They usually have the best prices for bottled soft drinks. We also love Publix deli! There have been a many of time while traveling or Sunday afternoon that we enjoyed sandwiches from Publix deli!

Fresh Market - And then we add in Fresh Market. It's amazing at the stuff you can find in the Fresh Market. We have started having homemade sushi thanks to the Fresh Market that sells the stuff to make sushi. We enjoy so many different things from the Fresh Market, like fresh gelato, different sauces, and several different kinds of dried fruits.

Sprouts/Whole Foods - We love having healthy foods as well as our massive love for "unhealthy" food in this house. These are the places that have serious ways of teaching you about healthy eating! They really do care about your health. They really do have the healthiest and organic food that you can buy! Whole Foods has even teamed up with Amazon! Prime Members save!

Trader Joe's - For everything else, there is Trader Joe's. We love the uncommon things at Trader Joe's. I love that most of the entire store is organic. I love the pizza dough, the cheeses, and their greeting cards. Yes, their greeting cards are totally epic, and seriously just a dollar!!! You will not be disappointed. A sister store to Aldi, Trader Joe's has epic snacks as well. Their freezer section and the seasonal section is on point! And don't forget the Everything Bagels and Everything But the Bagel seasoning!

In the future, we have considered buying straight from farmers for most meat. We already have deer and turkey kept on hand during their season, along with duck. We also purchase some things from Amazon and Sam's Club as well.

Where does your family shop? We obviously shop all over, and we love it! How about you?
