Yes as much as I love Tinker Bell and Elsa, Mater has a strong pull to my heart. I knew it from the first time watching Cars that his character would be something special to me. I love his outlooks on life and how he handles situations. He always tries to be himself and doesn't forget his background.
Disney did a wonderful job on creating this character. Meeting Mater in Hollywood Studios is always fun and I have a terrific time meeting him on almost every trip. The line can really get long but that shows you how awesome he and McQueen are in this film and how successful the movie was for Disney.
So yes I love the redneck rusty car!
