The Body Shop Shower Gel Minis - (Satsuma, Strawberry, Mango)
Technically these are empties and favorites because I used these up! Oh these were perfect for travel (and I did a lot of that!) My favorite out of the three was the strawberry it smelled like strawberry jello!!

Fortune Cookie Soap Salt Scrub The Boy Who Never Grew Up - Another love from a product I received in my FCS Box. Oh I think I love salt scrubs better than sugar scrubs. Anyone know the benefits? Or whether one has more benefits than the other?

Lush's Brazen Honey - I've been using this once a week. It just cleanses really deep and moisturizes as well. I love this but I think I'm going to try BB Seaweed in June.

Dionis Goat Milk Skincare Sea Treasures Hand Cream - I only paid $3 for mine but mine didn't come with a snazzy box so that's probably where the extra cost comes in. I bought mine at Cracker Barrel and I bought most of the scents and as you can see from the picture above this one is almost gone. I also love the lemon and strawberry!

Mr. Pumice Extra-Coarse Pumi Bar and Mr. Pumice Two Sided Ultimate Pumice Bar - I have no clue why not everyone is talking about these. Thank Goodness Tati Tip Tuesday #42 directed me to these beauties! They are under $5! Yes you read that right and they work so unbelievably good.

Hey HoneyGood Morning: Honey Silk Facial Serum - I received this in my ipsy bag and I saved it for traveling after realizing just how much I loved it and how well it worked! This made the dry patches on my face go away! My forehead no longer feels like sand paper.

Olay Fresh Face Wipes Everything Off - To me these are so worth the extra price! Everyone knows I love my Target Up & Up make up remover cloths (I still have packages of them as well.) But these are amazing because one their fragrance is so fresh and clean. The second thing is that they are cooling. The first time I used one of these I thought it was so refreshing I probably looked like a freak to the car beside me.

tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette - This was an impulse buy and I have to say I was so excited to try it the next morning! For me it's a great nude palette that has all matte shadows in it.

Buxom Lip Glosses - I will one day have the entire collection of these. These are my favorite glosses EVER! Over Too Faced, over MAC, over anything! They have just a hint of plumping and amazing - insert freaking amazing- pigment! I love these!

MAC Cinderella Cream Shadow in Pearl - Though no longer available.. I love this for my inner eye corner! It's super for that.

Mini Currents 05. 30. 15

Hujambo, my friends! So today has been full of blogging, decorating the house, watching YT videos, and singing. So basically a really lazy day! But given that fact means I have enjoyed it even more.

Vin and I totally have given up on the fact one day we will grow up. So instead we are just going to grow wise and strong and call it quits. We came up with that solution when we were running around the house in our underwear chasing each other with pillows. Let the world think what they want to about us, we will die with smiles on our faces.

Tinker Bell Half Marathon Essentials

Running essentials? Fairy essentials? Disneyland essentials? I'm about to cover all of the things that I am so glad I brought with me for the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend! These are things that stood out to me on this trip!

Shoes and sunblock are a must of course. But everyone will tell you that when looking for a list of things you'll need on a RunDisney Race. Some people like more fun and some people take it a lot more serious. It just depends on the person and why they are running the race. But the goal is there really to have fun and do your best!

Money - Ok so not on the run exactly. But the rest of the weekend you need to make sure that you budget big time for souvenirs! I was very happy that this was the main run weekend that I gave myself plenty of cushion for souvenirs because I love Tinker Bell so much.

Band-Aid Active Friction Block Stick - This is something I am 95% sure that I have talked about before this post, but I'm going to talk about it again. This is something I wear at every Disney trip, and something I wear every single time I wear a new pair of shoes! This really stops the blister. Part of me wants to know the science behind it. The other part isn't that interested honestly. I know most runners prefer Body Glide and some just prefer Vaseline. I happen to love my results with Band-Aid Active Friction Block Stick.

Costume - I actually was very excited about getting my running costume for this weekend. Who am I kidding? I love dressing up at every running event that I go to because I love that I can! It's super fun!

Halo Hairband - I love this brand for keeping my hair back while I am running and other sports as well. I also love their sweat band as well for keeping the sweat out of my eyes. But the hairband is what I really love the most!

KT Tape - I see people wearing this in normal life with aches and pains. But I especially love it since I am prone to getting shin splints. This tape really helps that. Plus you may look a little dorky with bright colored tape on you but it helps!

NOT YOUR MOTHER'S DĂ©jĂ  Vu Do Style Extender - When I received this is what in a Voxbox of mine and I wasn't sure about it. So I put it to the ultimate test and used it the weekend of the Tinker Bell Half Marathon. It really holds! I mean if it can withstand me sweating, the humidity, and everything else, it works! And I had someone ask me why do they need something like this for a race... THEY TAKE YOUR PICTURE! And you don't want to look like a "woolly bully."

Snap Infusion Super Candy - When I first started running I thought things like this was a hoax. I was mistaken. These really help to give a great boost when the race starts winding down. Sometimes it helps me to get my mind off of the pain or miles to go by eating something especially if it taste like something else which brings me to a different memory. It's like a mini trip.

Orange Blossom Organic Energy Chew - I carry two different brands for two reasons. One I love this company because they are strictly organic and they offer other products I like. Two, the flavor of these are just out of this world. I have received several of their products through different subscription boxes over the years. So for me this is a tried and true company.

Nuun - When I first started running, a running friend of mine told me about the hydration that would help you keep up your stamina. Oh how I love this! This is a perfect product for runners and I cannot not recommend it more. Just pop it into your water and it helps your body perform throughout the activity!

SPIbelt™ Foil - I love to try out new sports belts. This is one of my favorites though. It just holds everything. It stays in place well. Sometimes I do like to change to a belt with a water bottle, but I also like this belt because it is just what I need for running. I also like how it's flashiness is perfect fo my personality.

SmartWool Women's PhD® Run Ultra Light No Show Socks - So everyone talks about the socks to wear while running, but no one discusses socks when they are telling you about running. A good lasting pair is what you need. Cotton is rotten is a phrase known around the running community. You need something that can withstand moisture. That's where these come in. I also pack compression socks for after a run.

Spyoptic Screw Sunglasses - These are perfect for running. I love these on my normal day runs as well. They have don't bother me at all. Plus they have great protection. There are a few others I like to wear as well, but these are the ones that I liked for this race.

Playtex® Sport Body Wipes 20 Count Singles - These are what I pack for on the run and after the run. It's like a tiny shower in a wipe! It smells good and gets the sweat smell off. I also like these for after race parties when you want to clean up just a bit and not head back to the room.

Kleenex Cool Touch and Slim Packs - These are fantastic! Now they don't have Kleenex Cool Touch in Slim Packs so I have to pack my own. Which is totally fine for me. I love having the cool touch ones because they are seriously cooler than normal Kleenexes.

Sunkissed Summer Tag

Summer is officially here! I am normally not a summer person (seriously though it's just 90 days until college football!) But I do enjoy summer things sometimes. And my summer looks pretty awesome! I'm working most of it, but still excited about where I'll be and what I'll be doing so it's a win-win.

1. What is your go-to product for a sunkissed summer glow?

Brown Sugar Southern Princess 200x - This is my favorite tanning oil if I'm actually tanning, which I haven't done this year. It really helps keep the skin moisturized and looking very healthy.

Jessica, Best Friend Tag

Yes I'm doing a lot of tags because I want you to get to know me straight out. Except this one isn't really about me. It's about my favorite guest post person, Jessica from A Pop of Jess! We have been friends for two years now. And I love her to death and looking back really amazes me because I had no idea we would become so close!

How and when did you meet?

I actually was dating her ex, and I added her because she was also a friend of my cousin. My cousin told me that she was a really great person who loved to read. The guy I was dating wasn't thrilled I was talking to her even after all he told me, and now I know exactly why because he lied to me and really hurt her.

What were your first impressions of your friend?

I thought she was extremely shy or either thought I was so boring. She wouldn't ever really stay online in one stretch of time talking to me.

What's your favorite memory together?

Ooo this is hard, I think my most favorite memory together is when we ordered our planners. We had already become really close by that point but she was there and ordering that planner helped us both.

Describe them in one word.

Unique

One thing that annoys you about the other person.

She doesn't believe in herself.

One thing that you love about the other person.

How creative she is!

If you could go anywhere in the world together where would it be?

London, definitely or Hawaii!  Ok fine anywhere would be lovely!

Favorite inside joke

Hm Gaston is actually between her and my cousin, sooo definitely A man duh, uh excuse me, Amanda.

Who takes longer to get ready in the morning?

Me, like always me even when I don't get ready it's me.

What's the other person's eye color, don't cheat!

Ha! Thanks to her daughter asking this the other day, her eye color is blue-green!

And the grueling days of my job start. Ok, not today they didn't. I just had to work tonight. That was wonderful for me. Vin actually arrived this morning as a surprise to me. And surprised I was to see him standing there. I love the fact that he can't stay away from me. I seriously thought, after listening to my friends, that all of those kinds of guys were gone. But he is here.

Also the second surprise for me would be LisaFreemontStreet's video! She actually answered the question I asked her. I was surprised by the answer, but I understood just as well. It made me very excited, but because she answered Jessica's as well. It was something we both needed!

My day started out with me finishing up several make-up products. And I have never had a Revlon Colorstay so empty before and I just had to Instagram it! It was interesting to me that I could get that many uses out of the container!

Work was okay, there was a few nagging moments but nothing some music couldn't drown out. The payments were posted and sent in to the bank. The insurance people came and spoke with my employees and we were able to get everything squared away. I had lunch with my IT guy we went to Ruby Tuesday.

Then went to do some make-up shopping which was great because I had coupons and points to use at Ulta, Sephora, and CVS. After that it was my twin girls dance recital. I loved watching them! All in all it was a fabulous day!

For the past few weeks I have felt so alive and totally just let my creativity flow. I hope you all have noticed! Because I totally feel like I have nothing holding me back anymore. Part of it is in fact Vin has showed me that we are meant and have been through so much already in our lives. And he really awakens me to the fact that I can be myself without shame. And if people think I'm fake or a poser so be it, they are the insecure ones not me.

I know this isn't my usual break down of the day. Because I didn't do a whole lot. I wrote in my journal most of the morning. Then I took to my pole for two hours just letting emotions out in a physical outlet. Then I spent some time planning for the coming week. Then I flew home because my girls have a dance recital Tuesday night!

Guest Post: DesignSticky- Sticker Company Start-Up

Hello to all of you lovely readers here at The Girl from Alabama. Jess from A Pop of Jess is back again to guest post for your lovely host, Hunter. Today we wanted to talk about something new that you will see more of in the future. For all the Erin Condren Planner lovers, or planner addicts in general, this is a post that you will not want to miss. Hunter and I have been working together on a project for some time now. We are in the early stages of development, trial and error, and planning. Soon we will be moving forward with our plans to open a shop to sale. What is it that we have been working on?

Planner Stickers!!! It all started with a need to decorate and have fuctional stickers that we were not seeing online. With with a ton of Etsy shops selling planner stickers, we wanted to create something for ourselves. With basic editting, we started to play with images, ideas, and themes. Soon it became natural to see something we liked, redesign it for our needs, and create it. We wanted unique and different ideas. So far we have made a variety of fitness stickers, half box tracking stickers for anything from YouTube to Netflix, and cleaning stickers for FlyLady Zone Cleaning.

With most of my planning being focus on daily events and journaling, I would find a theme and create a weeks worth of stickers to coordinate. My favorite so far is a Paper Mario themed week. In conjunction with my journaling, I do gratitude with the Happier app. The sticker idea was born to create a sticker to keep track of when we used the app. The idea was shared with Happier, and they loved and approved of the idea. If you are interested, you can follow this link to see more about Happier and the stickers created.

We are looking forward to moving forward, creating more mass market ideas, and opening up our shop together. Do you find that you have trouble finding the stickers that you need? We would love to hear any sticker ideas that you have.

Thanks again to the wonderful Hunter for letting me guest on her blog today!

Letter to Target from the Target Junkie

Dear Target,

I still remember my first trip to you. I was in the fourth grade and you had something called a Starbucks that everyone was excited to have in Tuscaloosa. You were very different from Walmart and K-Mart. You were bright and clean.

Years went by and you were my place to buy yoga pants. You had the kind I loved with bootcut bottoms and without bright bands on the top. I wish these would return into style, but that's not really your fault. You were the first place I discovered iTunes giftcards as well. Which while being a young teenager I requested every time a gift was suggested for me.

When it was time for me to go to college, and that's where our tight knit friendship started. You were there for me like no other store.  You were there for me with inexpensive items for college. I remember the deals you had that Black Friday where I purchased a microwave, a waffle iron, and an electric teapot. I was already for life in the dorm.

When I came upon my next obsession you were right there for me. Because going to cosmetology school first in college helped me realize that I love makeup as a hobby! And having to start cheap with Elf makeup brushes was a huge help for me. (For the record I still enjoy those makeup brushes!) You have most of my makeup needs for basics even to this day. Especially your up & up makeup remover wipes- please never rid yourself of those!

Those cards that I received in the mail telling me that another sorority sister was getting married... but she was registered at Target so it wasn't so bad and I could push away those single life blues! The fact that I can find exactly what my friends and family want by their registry makes me very happy. Plus I can shop for myself as well. Can't wait for it to be my turn.

So first comes marriage then comes my friends with a baby carriage. And Target you have been there for me on that too. But not just for my friends. When we got custody of the children, you have awesome deals. Great Target brand items for baby. You really the perfect store for everything!

The Container Store is nonexistent near me in Tuscaloosa so it's nice to have Target come to my rescue for organizing needs! All sorts of storage containers. Plus, there is a wide range and variety of cleaning supplies. You are willing to give new brands and chance that's great for those of us who like to try new things.

Holiday times are the best. Target, you, really keep up with the change in "fashions" of the seasons! It's great that the same things are not always on the shelf each for Christmas, Halloween or Easter. I love that you really know that I need that tinsel garland but change it up so that I am forced to realize I need a whole new set each year to my fiance dismay!

Redcard 5% back is the best thing since sliced bread. A debit card specifically for Target and I get discounts for using it?!?! I don't think I even let the cashier finish her whole "speech" before I said sign me up. And the best thing for this Disney freak? I can buy a $1000 worth of Disney gift cards and only have to pay $900 for it thanks to Target! Best thing ever! And for those of you who are like why the heck would she need that kind of money in gift cards? That's how I pay for tips and anything I charge to our room during the trip.

And last but not least, the dollar spot at Target. *Cue the Hallelujah chorus* Stocking stuffer, teacher needs, stationary needs, glowsticks, shoebox gifts, socks, etc. It can all be found in the dollar section at Target! The dollar section at Tuscaloosa really needs to be updated more, and don't tell me it can't be done because other Targets get it done. But I still love it just the same!

So Target these are the reasons I love you and I keep returning to you.

Can't wait to see what you have in store in the coming years,

Your biggest fan,

Hunter

How to Be a Godly Wife/Fiancé

What does it mean to be a Godly Wife/Fiancé?

That's a loaded question. Everyone has different opinions on this because everyone has different interpretations of the Bible. And that is a struggle to me in, itself because I can't see how someone reads what I read in the Bible and come away with something different. Then I have to remember that it's like that with any book. Our life experiences are never the exact same, identical twins don't have the same life experiences therefore see the world differently. One twin has falls off a bike and the other watches. Two different pains, two different perspectives.

This is my view on how to be a Godly wife or fiancé.

Yoohoo! Hello there! Guess what this girl is in Orlando! I was introduced to the staff and went to shopping! I had a great trip down here. I felt great because I went for a run before ever leaving! I love that this summer is really starting. It makes me so happy to see what this summer will hold! I am very curious about this summer compared to last summer.

Tomorrow is the beginning of the Disney 24 hour event! It's the kick off to summer and I have to work really odd hours for it. It makes me excited to partake in it. Some of my off time will be spent at the homeschool convention.

24 Hour Event tomorrow at Disney World!

Expedition Everest Challenge

This race wasn't something I had ever envisioned myself doing. It was interesting but I was kind of glad when it was over. There was a lot of people who didn't have their hearts in this and I will admit I was one of them. I can also see why this was the last year for this.

There was a scavenger hunt with clues and an obstacle course. I can see how this was fun at first, but RunDisney, is just that for running. This could be kept but for like for teenagers, sports group that need team work. This wasn't something that I would do again.

The medal was probably my favorite thing. It's a real compass! That was so neat to me. The piece of "bling" is something that I am very proud of that I have accomplished. Having that placed around my neck and around Chris's neck was really inspiring to keep running... Which I did... Right on to the Tinker Bell Half Marathon which you will read about soon.

When running through the parking lot and through the park I felt pride in the fact that I had a best friend with me. He trusted me enough to look for clues and help solve riddles. That also meant a lot to me while doing this event. There were several groups that were fighting (and then claiming they had a great time) but Chris and I were happy to just get some emotion out while running and having fun while problem solving.

But all in all this wasn't my favorite race and I am glad RunDisney is coming out with a new race for the runners of Disney World. And the race will hopefully have a lot of force... Star Wars Half Marathon: The Dark Side is coming to Disney World! How awesome is that?!?!

Stay tuned for more running updates!

Today is a day I have been looking forward to and yet dreading at the same time! I worked all day wondering about what would be the outcome of this season of Dancing with the Stars. I mean hello obviously I wanted Ryker to win. (Especially after that freestyle!)

But, Rumer and Val won. I wasn't happy about that at all. I was really disappointed. I was also disappointed by Noah making it to the finals. I do not believe he should have been there. Anyhow, I enjoyed some baseball afterwards. I spent time with my girls as well.

Today I worked on making food for an old coworker whose sister passed away. I decided that breakfast foods would be better than the traditional meals that people carry. People often overlook breakfast. So breakfast dishes, coffee, and other breakfast related items are what I have placed in a basket.

I have also worked on my forever long to-do list. It makes me smile realizing how much I putting into my making our house a haven. Knowing that I am helping my community by strengthening my house gives me a good feeling. I don't want to look back and remember how drab life was I want to look back and be really happy.
