Maybe it's because who voiced the kid Simba or something but Simba is definitively my favorite prince! I love Flynn and Naveen but Simba was awesome.
He was lead astray by family. Someone he should have been able to trust but it didn't end up that way. He ran away because the same family member told he was the cause of the problem.
Nala tries to understand him. Thing is she doesn't know the whole story. She is like the public she is just going off of what she has been told. It's hard for her to understand.
He does come back and uncover the truth.
