I loved Pollyanna as a child so much that I literally broke the VHS that had been bought for me. I also broke the recorded VHS tape of it too.
This was my key to realize that no matter how many years of experience an adult has they can be wrong. It has been my hope and my push through out life to realize that I won't let an adult hold me back. I knew because Pollyanna had stood her ground that I could do the same.
It is one I will want my daughters to watch. There will be times when they are right and I am wrong. I want to remember that. That's why this is so important me even now when I watch it.
