My 2020 Workout Playlist

Hey everyone! I hope you are doing well! I realize many people are not doing well. I can say that exercising really helps me. It helps me to take all of my emotions out on things.

Fall 2018 Bucket List

The last of the grills are heating up, the chlorine smell is clinging to our skin, and the freckles from the sun show well on our bodies. It's almost September 1st! Don't you hear the Hogwarts Express being geared up? Do you not smell the pumpkin spice already?! But, this girl is ready for simmering soup, leaves smells, and sweaters! And I love fall, so I'm stretching it out as much as I can.

Welcome my friends to my blog, I've dying to meet you...

A Few of My Favorite Playlists

While many people love Spotify for playlists, I prefer Youtube playlists. There are so many more things you can add to their playlists that you can't Spotify. I can add an inspiring speech in the middle of my running playlist if I want.

Today I'm sharing the playlists of mine that I have come to love that I have put together over the last few months.

February 2018 Favorites

Wow hello, March! Am I excited it's March? Yes and no! Yes because as of yesterday I'm in Disney World! No, because of Day Light Savings Time. Yeah, I like the dark. I like my sleep. No, I am not happy. But it's March so it's time for February favorites!

It is fall yet?

My Soundtrack to A Fatal Twist of Lemon

When you read do you listen to music? You know that movie reel in your head showing you what you are reading; does it have background music like a regular movie? Have you ever wondered what songs would be the soundtrack if your favorite book was made into a movie?

I was challenged to do this and I'm so excited to finally be able to share!

Non Traditional Christmas Songs

Christmas music has been playing through my speakers since November 1st. I'm not ashamed of that at all. But there has been a conversation I've had with a coworker, and I see his point. A lot of the Christmas music is the same songs, but different voices and styles singing them. He, however, claimed that there wasn't any new songs. I'm about to prove him wrong in saying, that all Christmas songs are redone and that they are not new songs released.

Things I'm Loving Right Now!

Hello Everyone! It's been some time since I have done a favorites, but don't worry they will be coming soon. They will however, probably be coming without lookbacks, but a very long lookback will be coming at you in December! But I want to let you know what I am loving as of RIGHT NOW!

Find a reason to smiles every day.

Stripped Down to the Bone: Boudoir Playlist

Tic-toc-tic-toc... Time is flying by for me! It's exciting but it's nerve wrecking as well. And as luck would have it I have been asked to be a photographers boudoir model. I agreed on the idea if I could have long sessions and two different ones with each having to Holiday themes in the middle, and again she agreed. Adore Me is the lingerie brand I am using with these pictures mostly and I'll have links at the bottom of the pieces I bought.

1.Pillowtalk - Zayn
2.Bottoms Up (feat T.I.) - Brantley Gilbert
3.Birthday - Katy Perry
4.The Phantom of the Opera - Lindsey Stirling

19.In Your Arms - Stanfour feat Jill
20.Rule the World - Take That

And for the second session here are the other 20 songs;

1.Bombshell Blonde - Owl City
2.Once Upon A Dream - Lana Del Rey

19.Marry You - Bruno Mars
20.God Gave Me You - Dave Barnes

And since I did a post a few months back with Adore Me, I bought a lot of the things I'll be wearing for these photo shoots on their website. I'll list a few of my favorites below:

Alayna

Marlie

Wylma Bra

Mahogany

Clora

Josselyn

I'm very glad for this opportunity, because this is something I would NEVER do for a living at all. I like to be the nice, quiet girl that just as a wild side. But since there were no "good" boudoir playlist online I thought it would be interesting to create my own. Mine even have a holiday twist! I hope this will "inspire" you for your boudoir pictures if that's why you are here.

September 2016 Favorites

Hello Everybody and welcome to another Favorites blog! Sorry that this has taken a bit more time than usual for me to get this up. I just haven't been feeling that well and trying to get my life together and ready for my favorite time of year!

I started the month in California! We actually started it at Hogwarts in Universal Studios Hollywood. Vincent had been wanting to visit it again and so what better day to go to Hogwarts than September 1st? It was magical. We had the Disneyland Half Marathon and it went off without a hitch! It was so much fun. I love that Rain runs with me now and all the races!

After California it was home for a day then back for my last week in Orlando working. I did apply for the Mom Panelist on the Disney website. I never heard a call back so I'll try again next year. Basically I worked and did every day things while back in Orlando.

With the arrival of September, came the arrival of Alabama football season and it has been amazing season so far! Lots of talents, and some ego. And even an ax wielding player on the side lines this year! Alabama is never predictable, not sure why people try to predict us.

The week after that I went back home for a 5 and half days. I went to work, and enjoyed my regular life back in Alabama. Well semi normal. Because one of my jobs took me on a field (charter bus style) to Mississippi to visit Ashley Furniture warehouse and factory. It was unreal to know that the factory is one of the biggest in the world and it is growing!

Then came something I have been looking forward for over a year. My trip to Paris to run the inaugural Disneyland Paris Half Marathon. So much has happened in the world since they announced it. I was scared I wouldn't be able to go and there quite a few that didn't want me to go. But I did. In tow was Frankie and Rain. We had a blast in London AND Paris! It couldn't have been more perfect. And if you want my complete review of it go here to my post: Disneyland Paris Weekend Questions Answered.

Our flight back home was quick to me. I still slept a lot and managed to make a list of costumes that I can choose from this year (and more on that later.) I did in fact head on to work that afternoon. I do not regret going straight in to work. The last Thursday of September I helped with the soup kitchen and it was very shocking. Knowing that I helped fill 130 plates in 30 minutes is astounding to me. I do believe that I will be helping in the future as well.

Something that has been in the works for a while, but it just now coming to fruition is mine and A Pop of Jess's family going full time RV living with some friends and family of ours next year. We have been researching a lot and having nightly meetings, watching videos, and talking to people about their RVs.

Eye Makeup Product -

Too Faced Cat Eyes - It has been a Too Faced year for me. This palette traveled the globe with me. It was perfect because Europe already felt and looked like fall. This went well with the outfits I had packed and the scenery. Perfect harmony!

Makeup Brush -

Coastal Scents Classic Blender Brush Natural - This is one that I received in my ipsy. I really like it for what it is intended for, blending! It does the job just like I need it to. I really don't care for craziness in brushes. Just get the job done!

Face Makeup Product -

BORN THIS WAY UNDETECTABLE MEDIUM-TO-FULL COVERAGE FOUNDATION - This is newly found for me! I finally ran out of the foundation I was wearing and switched to this. I love it! It gives a very nice matte finish and is very lightweight for it to be a medium to full coverage.

Lip Product -

Smith and Cult Lip Gloss The Warning - I adore this lip lacquer. I am in love with this formula and the color. The shine that comes with this product is amazing! I want it in all colors... NOW! I will be purchasing more!

Hair Care Product -

Bumble and Bumble Full potential travel set - I don't mind trying new products on the go. I know a lot of people are oppose to it. But I like to try new hair stuff. This was awesome for the trip to California at the beginning. I did not take this to London or Paris. I used different stuff on that trip

Skincare -

GINZING™ ENERGY-BOOSTING MOISTURIZER - My skin is back to looking more alive. I have started purchasing from Origins again and I glad I have. My skin is happy again. It really wakes up with this moisturizer.

Shower/Bath Product -

Lord Of Misrule Bath Bomb - I picked up a bunch of Lush goodies while we were in London! I bought the entire Fall line from Lush because I have a problem and I am fully admitting it. I am a Lushie through and through. This gives the bathtub an amazing color and was fun!

Game -

Bubble Witch Saga - I have been playing this game for years. I also play the second one but I return to this one every year around this time. There is nothing like playing this during the Halloween season. It's spooky and a lot of fun.

YouTube Channel/YouTuber -

SACCONEJOLYs - I go back and forth on this family. I will watch for a little bit then I'll stop. I really like it that they are pregnant again. They take such good care of their children!

Book/Story -

The Morning Miracle - I heard about this book long before I had heard of Boho Berry. I had heard about this book for "business," "life," and "family." But it was thanks to Boho Berry that I finally took the plunge and read it. I really like it and the ways of setting of life goals and making sure I can achieve things one level at a time.

Song/Album -

The Phantom of the Opera - I prefer the original recording cast. But when we seen the Phantom of the Opera in London, I felt the music in my bones. There is just something about seeing it in person. I will forever love the experience we had watching it in person.

Movie -

Practical Magic - Frankie and I both love witchy things and this movie is amazing! Plus I have a soft spot for Sandra Bullock movies and this is one of my favorites of hers. It got me into the Halloween spirit for sure!

Pinterest Pin -

Disney Moment -

Disneyland Paris with Frankie! It was amazingly romantic and fun for us. We enjoyed the sites and the different to us Disneyland park. I cannot wait to go back.

Running/Fitness -

Running the inaugural Disneyland Paris half marathon! I made history! How amazing is that?! It feels amazing to have that medal in my collection now. Running in a different country was so wonderful.

Food -

Salsa... I promise ever since I went on my medicine to help with my female trouble, I have been craving anything with tomato... Pizza, salsa, cheese sticks with marina. It is has been an ongoing craving. Arby's is my friend and a jar of salsa is the next best thing.

Spotlight Etsy Shop -

BeyondPaperFlowers - Her stickers are so freaking cute and unique. I bought a ton from her and loved the a lot. I know I am going to purchase again, and very soon. Her grab bags are so amazing!!!! Plus the sampler she has for sale is also amazing!

Why This Modern Girl Loves Vintage

At twenty-five years old, I love to dress up in hair combs, a petticoat, and have Victory Rolls in my hair. Glenn Miller is usually helps me relax like nothing else ( or maybe it is, Dick Singleton and the Single Tones.) And watching Father Knows Best, I Love Lucy, and Make Room for Daddy transport me into another time. I am a modern girl with a vintage heart!

First thing that I love about vintage is the music. Like I said to begin with there is just something so relaxing about Glenn Miller that I just dance away in my head. Sirius Radio has a 40s station that is incredible. I do wish they would make a Bing Crosby station. I think I could just wonder around listening to Let Me Whisper 'I Love You.'

While we are talking about Bing Crosby, can I just mention on how it seemed like they made the holidays seem larger than life and they didn't have projections or LED lights? Tinsel trees shimmered in the lights, and if you had a live tree icles/tinsel were place aka thrown on the branches. Everyone decorated mostly because it was time when people could put away their differences, for the most part, and enjoy a celebration.

Dancing is another reason why I love vintage things. Not everyone enjoyed dancing back then, but it was more accepted thing to do than it is now. Rita Hayworth, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelley, and Ginger Rogers are what comes to mind. I think I could watch their videos on Youtube all day long. People don't understand the emotional aspect of dancing. I remember taking dance as a kid and learning the steps. I was very awkward until I put my heart into it and then I started looking more fluid.

What to wear? The petticoat/crinoline look is something that I absolutely love! I was a preteen and fell in love with a dress that had one built in. Not to mention watching Lucy walk through her apartment moving her skirt! Oh I adore that! Today I still the most feminine while wearing such. It just gives you that feeling of just being happy and swishing a skirt. Whirling Turban is the expensive route but ModCloth has a more cheaper flare.

Next reason I love vintage is the artwork! I love the round, cherry cheek look of all characters in any given vintage piece! They were always wholesome pieces and happy for the most part. It's always fun to go look at the vintage pieces you can.

Food is a huge reason I love vintage/retro things! Nothing brings a theme together like food! Jello made a killing off of all meals back in the day. Making It Modern on Youtube has made a name for herself making vintage dishes into modern master pieces! She has lead me to looking into more vintage recipes. While food goes through changes with the decades, like anything, it's interesting to see what people thought were attractive and tasty back then.

Makeup and hairstyle is what started me on the journey to keeping vintage in my life. Odette, from Decoding Odette, introduced me to two different vintage style vloggers; Cherry Dollface and Lisa Freemont Street. Both have incredible ways of going back to a vintage and retro styling of hair and makeup. Who would have thought that pincurling could be so much fun for a girl who loves her curling iron? Not me.

As you can see I love many things vintage. I think I'll let vintage cars be just for my best friend though. She adores vintage cars and I can understand. Her daddy instilled that into her heart. So that's all hers. Even my best friend loves vintage. She claims she doesn't love it like I do but I think it's in her just waiting to be released.

What are some vintage/retro things you?

Happy Fourth of July: Mini Currents

Happy Fourth of July! This is America's birthday and we should proud of America's history. I'm always amazed at how so many people in this country do not realize why we celebrate the fourth of July. They think it's to honor soldiers or something else. It's not. It's about us as a country.

Tonight is a big deal in Vin's hometown. We are celebrating with great music, food, dancing... and of course fireworks! Now these fireworks are nothing like what's going to be at Disney World, but they will still be amazing!

I have been cooking most of the day since we arrived for tonight. The kids are having a splash party in the backyard. They are excited it's slightly cooler up here in the mountains with less humidity so they don't feel like they are being pushed to the ground by the air here.

GOING TO NEW YORK TOMORROW!

My RunDisney Disney World Marathon Playlist

Well today I completed the RunDisney Walt Disney World Marathon weekend. Yep I'm pure Dopey, 48.6 miles Dopey. So I'm sharing what I run to not just Disney races but when I'm training for them as well.

Alabama Football Thunderstruck - Roll Tide - I have to hear the ones about how many bowl victories.

As you can see my running playlist has changed as my running has improved. Back in 2014 when I first pushed through The Glass Slipper Challenge I had a much shorter list. Songs change on this list all the time. I'm constantly finding songs that get me pumped up for something.

Favorites Change Up

"Favorites of the year." "Favorites of 2015." I'm hearing that a lot right now. But I just don't get it. If you put up a monthly video talking about your favorites from each month you should be ok. The only person that truly does a yearly favorites video that I would deem a true Year Favorites is Emily Noel or EmilyNoel83. She does a series of favorites and she tells you why in detail. I love her end of the year series!

Speaking of monthly Favorites. I will have a new format come February for January Favorites. I will not being doing multiple types of products. Like I won't have two different eyeshadow palettes. I will pick my favorite and link it and tell you why. I have the categories ready. Which I am showing you now

Eye Makeup Product - Eyeliner, Eyelashes, Mascara, Eyeshadow, Eye Shadow Primer

And as always I will be showing you my look back for my Erin Condren. To see how I designed my months and my weeks.

Since I feel like I don't have any December Favorites. And that's always why the change in format because I feel like I can keep up with the products that have changed and what I do really like. So there is that to look forward to at the end of January.

And now I will post November's Lookback here:

And December's Lookback here:

I hope you all enjoy. Take care.

Currents for Christmas Day

Today was a rough day... Yes Christmas Day. On the first day of my trip to Disney World in January I met a mom that had just learned that her son had cancer. Last night that little boy went to be in Heaven. Jonny Wade was a special soul. He had a huge impact on so many people. His faith was unwavering until the day he died. His mom's faith is just as strong.

We had an interesting day here. It was the first Christmas without my Mewmaw. I wasn't sure how it was going to go. Especially in the afternoon but God saw to that. I was napping when all of my electronics starting going off that our county was under a Tornado warning. Not a watch, a warning was issued on Christmas day.

The rest of the day was semi-uneventful. Vin had a lupus flare. Then I have sat in my office with the door wide open for the kids to toddle in when they feel like it. I have enjoyed the lights on low and watching YouTube videos on my Tv while figuring out my Polaroid Zip!

That's about it.

Christmas 2015 Survey Questions

Happy Christmas Everyone! I cannot believe we are almost half way through the month of December! I mean really! I need it to slow down! I love the holidays.  I thought I would take some time and answer a few questions about this special time of year.

1. Favorite Christmas Movie?

Yes-- I don't like Elf.
I'm not the biggest fan of It's a Wonderful Life.
And I do watch The Christmas Story-- but it's not my favorite, it's just there.

2. Are you on the Naughty list or the Nice list?

Lol, depends on the time of year! This year I'm on the nice list, but next year I'll be married...

3. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

We usually open pajamas and something small.
I tried to get to get my dad to letting us open presents early as children that was shot down.
So I tried with Vinny, again I was shot down just like a duck with the Dynasty bunch.

4. Have you ever had a White Christmas?

Yes, but I don't remember it.

5. Do you start your Christmas shopping on Black Friday or wait until the last minute?

I do shopping all through the year, but I also wait to the last minute with some people. Those people that you have to get something small.

6. If you could be in any Christmas movie what would it be?

The Santa Clause.... Ahhhhh Bernard!!!!!

Thanksgiving Day 2015 Mini Currents

I know this is out of character for me to do this. I am posting this the day after, but I thought it would a be a nice change to things. We had a really great Thanksgiving. We watched the parade. The whole family came over. We ate too much. We watched Christmas movies. It was a really good time.

Good Morning Everyone! Yes this Alabama fan is still in a good mood. I know we lost this morning (I felt like a LSU fan staying up that late), but there are things to learn from this game. And that's a gigantic thing for me to say because a few years ago I would have been mad as ever this morning. But we can't win them all, but I'd like to though.

Anyways, I'll be spending the day getting as many posts I can to you. I hope my new idea of systeming my posts will prove to be beneficiary. It's not something I normally would do, so it's be interesting to see what happens. So what are your plans for this fine Sunday morning?

Mini Currents 09. 17. 15

Today has had it's ups and downs today. I am feeling very overwhelmed at getting things together. It feels like the moment I have some peace and I'm ready to work on something, messenger goes off, group app goes off, the door bell rings, the dog barks, etc. I'm not complaining, I love my life but I'm drowning at the moment. And I'm even getting up earlier and I'm getting nowhere.

Ok enough with the negativity! I am really excited about this weekend. There are major events happening. One is the game Saturday! And then there are exciting in my family which I will post about tomorrow I'm sure.

Tomorrow!

Mini Currents 09. 10. 15

Happy Thursday! Today has been mostly about myself and my family! I sent two of my sisters off to Disney World this morning because they are going to Night of Joy at Disney World. It's a huge Christian Concert at Magic Kingdom that takes place just about every September. I'm excited for them to go! It will be magical for them!

Most of my day I have spent working on Bible Study plans. I just feel this draw towards leading the Bible Study group that I have started with Jessica, Corey, and Carolina. So that's what I have mostly worked on. Right now I am at the hospital with a friend of mine from work. Hopefully I can get the other two posts I would like to get up tonight while sitting here. If not I'm sorry in advance.

Tomorrow night's Bible Study Roundup!

August 2015 Favorites & Lookback

Hello Everyone else!

It's been a wonderful month, August has! Two Disney trips, and whole lot of other things! The kids for starters began homeschooling full fledge again on August 10th. They are really loving it.

MewMaw's flower that survived a tree and a storage building falling on them. They are blooming one last time.

gud Mango Moonbreeze Natural Nourishing Shampoo - The first four things on my list this month were given to me while I was on a trip this month. I was to test them out for the company. These products are fantastic, and not just for adults before kids as well. The smell reminds me of kids shampoo that I used as a child. This is a company by Burt's Bees. The shampoo really got my hair clean on quick rinses!

gud Mango Moonbreeze Natural Softening Conditioner - The conditioner was still awesome, but it wasn't as good as the shampoo. I still loved it, don't get me wrong, but I liked the shampoo more.

gud Natural Body Wash, Mango Moonbreeze - This probably the product I have used the most besides the lotion which I will talk about in a minute. This feels really good on the skin and just makes you feel clean and refreshed.

gud Natural Body Lotion, Mango Moonbreeze - This is the most used product out of the four that was given to me! It isn't greasy! It absorbs into the skin and it smells fantastic. It actually really gets into the skin am moisturizes! So this was a real win for me!

Dionis Lotion Pumpkin spice - I originally just had the tube of this and after I loved it so much and raved about it so much, my fiance went back and bought me the pump of it. Oh how I love this. Two funny stories have happened because of this lotion and me wearing it all the time. One was we were in Target checking out and the cashier (who was already very hyper) starts sniffing and saying she smells coffee. I asked her if it was a caramel and pumpkin smell and she was like "Do you have coffee?" I told her no it was my lotion. She asked me what kind of coffee it was and I told her it was lotion. The other story was my coworker started cleaning up her office trying to figure out where she had split coffee because she claimed she had been smelling on and off. I didn't think it was me (This happened before the Target incident) and I was sitting in a different office and she came in there was like "Omg I smell it in here too." That's when we realized it was me. Hey atleast I smell good!

Starlooks Luxe Longwear Eye Liner Pen - When I can write my name with a eye liner pen perfectly-- I'm in love! I love this so much that it took the place of my Stila pen. It has fantastic pigmentation. This is a real winner!

MAYBELLINE Dream Bouncy Blush Plum Wine - I had heard mixed reviews on this product. Some loved it and some hated it. But I was too curious to listen to the nay sayers-- And I'm glad I didn't pay them any attention. I had to get used to applying it but I adore this blush! It's just the perfect color too! I love it and plan to get it in more colors!

Aldi's Baker Treat Mini Chocolate Muffins - The above picture is what the box loos like when you buy these delicious bites! I love these for snacks and for a quick breakfast. The kids adore them!

Milani Fierce Foil Eyeshine - This are so much more affordable than Stila's foil eyeshadows. Sure these have more fallout but these are so much more shimmery! I love these for a pop of shine and color! They can really make any eye
